Beds at CMC are Australian standard single beds (91cm x 188cm). You will need to bring your own bedding, linen and pillow. Please contact reception if you would like assistance to know where to buy these essential items.

Both room types are furnished the same, however the large single rooms are more spacious, as they can also be used for twin share occupancy.

All CMC facilities and spaces are cleaned on a daily basis by professional cleaners. Your room is your responsibility and you will be required to clean your own room throughout your stay. We can provide you a vacuum to borrow and use.

Yes! All rooms have windows that open with a fly screen attached.

Yes! Each room is equipped with a heater and you can control the temperature as you desire.

Due to compatibility reasons, we do not arrange twin sharing at CMC. You will need to organise your own roommate to stay in a twin share room.

The nearest supermarket is located on Lygon Street – Woolworths Carlton at Lygon Court. It’s within walking distance to CMC, approx. 5 to 10 minutes away. There is also a 7/11 convenience store on the ground level of CMC and is open 24 hours and 7 days a week.

The laundry machines are coin operated and cost $3 per wash/dry.

Residents are required to provide their own washing detergent. Ironing facilities are free.

The complimentary wifi is connected to the high speed NBN network. Residents also have the option to connect their own internet with an external internet provider of their choice, for their own room if they wish.

No. CMC has a strict policy of no pets or animals permitted in the building for health and safety reasons.
